Philosophy
Women & Family Life Center was formed at St. George’s Church in Guilford in 1991 as an all-volunteer outreach program for struggling families. Seeing the need for an organization dedicated to supporting all Shoreline communities, the founders incorporated as an independent non-sectarian not-for-profit, secured independent office space, and hired an Executive Director. W&FLC moved into its present location at 96 Fair Street in Guilford in 1998 after a successful capital campaign. W&FLC support services are offered free of charge to ensure that all families can receive the help they need.
Empower
I discovered my passion for yoga during a trip to India, where I had deep spiritual experiences. Back in my hometown, I began practicing intensively and eventually completed training as a yoga teacher. Since then, I have been teaching with enthusiasm and dedication in my own yoga studio.
I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others to help them stay physically and mentally healthy. I have found my professional fulfillment as a yoga teacher and am grateful for the opportunity to accompany people on their path to greater well-being and inner balance.
